Tish Rabe, Renowned Children’s Book Author
Tish Rabe is a prolific and award-winning author who has dedicated her career to sparking curiosity and a love of reading in children. With over 135 books to her name, Tish is perhaps best known for her work continuing the legacy of Dr. Seuss. Since 1996, she has written or adapted more than 40 titles for The Cat in the Hat’s Learning Library, a non-fiction science series designed to make complex concepts accessible to early readers. Beyond the world of Dr. Seuss, Tish has contributed to some of the most beloved franchises in children’s media, including Sesame Street, Curious George, Blue’s Clues, and Clifford the Big Red Dog.
Her talents extend to the screen as well; she is an accomplished scriptwriter for television series on PBS Kids, Nickelodeon, and HBO Family, and is a skilled songwriter and music producer. A graduate of Ithaca College, Tish’s work has earned prestigious recognition, including the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Association of Educational Publishers.
In 2023, she partnered with the Trumbull Rotary to pen Kindness is Caring, Friendship is Sharing, lending her expertise to help teach the next generation the vital values of compassion and community.
Beth Stoller, Rotarian & Project Director
Beth is a dedicated Rotarian with a passion for service, membership, and literacy. A member of the Trumbull Rotary Club since 2014, she has held various leadership roles, including Past President, Membership Chair, and Interact Chair.

Inspired by Rotary’s “Service Above Self” motto and its commitment to making a difference, Beth launched the Kindness is Caring, Friendship is Sharing children’s book project in 2023. Partnering with renowned author Tish Rabe, this initiative aims to teach young readers the values of kindness and friendship while empowering future generations through education and storytelling.
When Beth is not working on a Rotary project, she enjoys bookkeeping for clients, taking long walks with her dog Ellie, or playing tennis and pickleball with friends.
